Warrington Borough Council have an exciting opportunity to work in our short breaks home for children with disabilities and complex health needs. We are looking for an experienced, child focused individual who has an excellent understanding of the Ofsted Regulations to Manager the day to day running of on one of our children's homes.

The role
The post is a 37-hour permanent contract. At Westland Drive we can care for up to 3 children at any one time, up to the age of 18 years across a twenty-four-hour, seven day a week service.
This role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of the home, ensuring high-quality care and maintaining compliance with Ofsted regulations. The role requires strong leadership, experience in residential care and a commitment to the wellbeing of children who have a variety of disabilities and complex needs.

What's needed?
We are looking to recruit a Registered Manager who is passionate about caring for children. Encouraging the children to reach their full potential is paramount. The successful candidate will have significant experience in residential care and strong leadership, communication and organisation skills. In additional they will have the ability to work under pressure and manage challenging situations.
Candidates will be required to be flexible, enthusiastic and ensure the smooth operation of the children home including staffing, resources and daily routines. They must be committed, caring and always place the children we care for at the centre of all they do.
Experience of working with young people with disabilities would be an advantage. You will receive mandatory and specialist training and monthly supervision from your line manager. We are committed to your personal development, and we will ensure that you are fully supported in this role. The successful candidate will be managing a stable and committed staff team who ensure the safety, well-being and personal development of each child.
Relevant NVQ level five is required for the role or must be working towards
