Positions Available: Bank and Part-Time Day Nurses



We are currently recruiting

Registered Mental Health Nurses

to join our team, with opportunities for:

Bank shifts (ad-hoc, flexible scheduling)

Part-time permanent day shifts

Part-time permanent night shifts

The Role



As a

Registered Nurse

at Cardinal Clinic, you will play a vital role in the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of patient care. Working collaboratively with patients, families, and a multidisciplinary team, you will help uphold the highest standards of clinical practice.

Key Responsibilities



Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' mental and physical health needs Develop, implement, and evaluate personalised care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team Administer medications and treatments safely and in line with professional guidelines Provide direct nursing care, including monitoring and treatment planning Ensure compliance with the Mental Health Act, NMC Code of Practice, and other relevant legislation Promote patient-centred, recovery-oriented care Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation (written and electronic) Liaise with GPs, social services, statutory and voluntary agencies, independent providers, and advocacy services Support and supervise junior nursing staff Act as key nurse for allocated patients Participate in clinical supervision, training, and continuous professional development Contribute to service improvements and quality assurance initiatives

What We're Looking For



Registered Nurse (Mental Health or General) with valid

NMC registration

Experience in mental health settings is desirable, but we welcome applications from newly qualified nurses with a strong interest in the field Strong clinical knowledge and awareness of mental health conditions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment A positive, proactive approach to learning and development Commitment to clinical governance, patient safety, and high standards of care
