Are you a talented and compassionate Band 6 Registered Midwife looking for an exciting career opportunity? Look no further! Sherwood Forest Hospitals are currently seeking enthusiastic midwives to join our exceptional team on a permanent basis, either on a full-time or part-time basis.

As a midwife with us, you will play a vital role in supporting women through their pregnancy journey, birth experiences, and postnatal care.

Key Responsibilities:

Work clinically as a member of the multi-disciplinary team to provide 24-hour cover within a duty rota.



Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, providing an individual woman-centered plan of care.



Effectively communicate with women and their families, colleagues, and the wider multidisciplinary team.



Promote the standards of the Baby Friendly Initiative and assist women in establishing their lactation and feeding techniques.



Collaborate with other agencies to address Safeguarding Children, Domestic Abuse, Mental Health, and Substance Misuse issues.
