We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse Associate within Mental Health Nurse to join our Mental Health team at HMP Doncaster, a

category B

Prison located in

Doncaster, South Yorkshire.





In this role you'll be working with a multi-disciplinary team that will support you and help you succeed.


We are looking for someone who has mental health experience which is essential.


Hours




Monday - Friday 37.5 hours per week 08.00 to 18.30 Occasional weekend working to meet demands of the service Occasional BH to meet the demands of the service

Salary





This position is full time, you'll receive an annual salary up to

32,346

per annum - depending on experience.

What you'll be doing







As a Registered Nurse Associate, your responsibilities will vary. You will


Provide outstanding care to our patients, listening to and acting on their feedback so that care is personalised and informed by what matters to them You will contribute to and implement care packages, assist with health promotion, wellbeing and clinics as well as assisting
patients with activities of daily living and personal care.
Deliver non-judgemental care involving anything from health promotion clinics and observations to
supporting the nursing and pharmacy teams in primary care within healthcare centres and on wings and house blocks.
Inspire excellence by forging strong links within our teams, our partners and stakeholders and
providing a service that people can trust, feel safe within and feel proud of
Promote best practice, evidence based care and continuous quality improvement embedding a
culture of shared learning. You will promote patient wellbeing through our overarching Wellbeing
Approach, demonstrating empathy and understanding to our patients.

Qualifications required:


Qualified Nurse Associate Currently registered with the NMC Training to level 3 in the safeguarding of vulnerable people Demonstrate current/recent preceptorship pathway since joining the NMC register Evidence of post registration CPD in areas relating to current practice

Although not essential ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.
