Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, or community health centers.
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualised care plans.
Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and prescriptions.
Monitor patient progress, document observations, and report any changes in condition to the healthcare team.
Collaborate with doctors, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and self-care management.
Adhere to all clinical governance, safeguarding, and health and safety policies.
Maintain accurate, legible, and comprehensive patient records.
Supervise and mentor junior staff and healthcare assistants.
Qualifications and Requirements
A valid
NMC (Nursing and Midwifery Council) PIN
is essential for this role.
A pre-registration nursing qualification from a UK-accredited program or an equivalent overseas qualification.
For international applicants, you must demonstrate the required level of English language proficiency as set by the NMC. This typically requires a minimum of
IELTS (Academic) score of 7.0
, with a minimum of 6.5 in the writing section, or an equivalent qualification.
You must have successfully passed the
NMC's Test of Competence
, which includes a computer-based test (CBT) and an Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE).
