An exciting opportunity has become available to join our team on Dulas Ward as a registered nurse. Dulas ward specialise in ENT surgery and accept outliers from Respiratory, Cardiology and Orthopaedic wards.
Due to the different specialities and the mix of medical and surgical patients, Dulas ward is a very interesting place work with numerous learning opportunities. A very friendly and supportive team make this an ideal ward for a newly qualified nurse or someone looking for a new challenge
Main duties of the job
Responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of evidenced-based nursing care, working collaboratively and cooperatively with others to meet the needs of patients and their families.
Assist in the management and organisation of the clinical area and participate in the education, development and supervision of other staff members and student nurses.
Take responsibility for a ward or equivalent sphere of nursing, in the absence of the senior nurse or person who has continuing (24 hour) responsibility.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
