Responsibilities

Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health status and document findings accurately. Develop and implement individualised care plans based on patient needs and medical history. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Monitor patients' progress and respond promptly to any changes in their condition. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care. Educate patients and their families about health management and disease prevention. Maintain accurate records of patient care activities in compliance with legal and ethical standards. Participate in continuous professional development to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to nursing practice. Proven experience in patient care, demonstrating empathy and effective communication skills. Proficiency in medication administration, ensuring accuracy and safety in all procedures. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team while also being capable of working independently when required. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of nursing practice.
