Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care plans. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes in condition to the medical team promptly. Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention strategies. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations. Uphold the highest standards of hygiene and safety within the clinical environment.

Qualifications

Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) in the UK. Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to nursing practice. Proven experience in patient care settings is preferred but not mandatory for newly qualified nurses. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to empathise with patients from diverse backgrounds. Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in nursing care.
