Valerie Manor, a family run, 23 bed nursing and residential home based in Upper Beeding, Henfield, West Sussex provide second-to-none care for our residents, offering a truly personal experience for everyone who lives with us.

As a nursing home rated "Outstanding" by CQC we are seeking to recruit a full time registered nurse to join our committed and driven team and to uphold the same ethos and passion for care that we do.

The main duties to include, but not limited to:

To administer residents medication on time and correctly

To provide personal care to residents, to include assisting with dressing/undressing, bathing, and using the toilet.

To help care for residents temporarily sick and needing minor dressings, bed nursing

To help care for EOL residents

Report the care given to residents using our in-house system

To help engage residents in daily activities

Assist residents needing help with feeding

To answer all bells, emergency bells, the front door, greet visitors and answer the telephone.

Salary:

Excellent rates of pay dependent on experience.

Requirements

The right person will be/have:

Registered nurse with active pin

Able to communicate both written and verbally

Able to work as a team member

Flexible

A kind and compassionate nature

A willingness to learn

Desirable

Previous care experience

Knowledge in personal care

Experience in working with older people

Interest in staff training and development
