Duties

Administer medications and monitor patient responses to treatments. Provide comprehensive patient care, including assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care plans. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with established protocols. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans. Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care measures. Assist in the coordination of patient care activities within the healthcare setting. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients.

Qualifications

Valid registration as a nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). Band 6 or above Proven experience in medication administration and patient care within a clinical setting. Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. A compassionate approach towards patient care and an ability to handle stressful situations calmly.
