We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team to cover a period of maternity for nine months, however there is potential for the succesful applicant to aquire a full time position with Town and Country beyond that. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for patients. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and implementing nursing interventions.
Duties
Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status and document findings accurately.
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualised care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Monitor patients' progress and respond promptly to changes in their condition.
Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and disease prevention.
Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards of practice.
Participate in continuous professional development activities to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
Skills
Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to effectively assess patient conditions.
Excellent patient care skills, demonstrating empathy, patience, and effective communication.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while maintaining professionalism.
Proficient in using medical equipment and technology relevant to nursing practice.

Qualifications
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
Strong patient care skills and compassion
In-depth knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
Proficient in medication administration and dosage calculations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments
Experience in patient assessment and care planning
Due to the nature of our business, we carry out Enhanced Disclosure checks on all individuals we intend to employ. The current cost for this is 32. It is paid upfront by the company and then deducted from your first salary.
