Job Description

The assessment, implementation and evaluation of the agreed standard of nursing care. Provide fundamental and advanced patient care. Ensure that all nursing records and documents are completed accurately, legibly and contemporaneously. Ensure safe discharges.



Discharge patients following the nurseled discharge protocol Assist the Ward Manager to ensure all staff is aware of prevention and control of infection. Act as an advocate for patients and protect their privacy and dignity. Ensure agreed standard for ward cleanliness by assisting with regular checks and audits. Work at an appropriate clinical level and be a role model for all staff.Manage the clinical are in the absence of more senior staff to ensure effective communication between all MDT members to ensure safe management of patients.
