Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. Duties

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine health status and needs. Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Perform various nursing procedures including IV insertion, catheterization, suturing, and emergency interventions. Monitor patient progress and document changes in medical records accurately. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Provide education to patients and families regarding health management and treatment options. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure confidentiality of patient information. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to NCQA standards. Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.

Experience

Candidates should possess the following experience or skills:

Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, Athenahealth, or eClinicalWorks. Background in critical care settings including ICU or emergency medicine. Experience with specialized procedures such as cardiac catheterization, dialysis, or trauma medicine. Familiarity with medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), and medical documentation practices. Knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic techniques. Experience working in diverse environments including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home care settings. Ability to provide care for patients with developmental disabilities or chronic conditions such as Alzheimer's or dementia.
