REGISTERED NURSE (NIGHT)

SETTING: Dapplemere Nursing Home, Chorleywood WD3 5HA

Less than 1 mile (15 min walk) from Chorleywood station; On-site parking available

FULL-TIME NIGHT SHIFTS (8pm - 8am) AVAILABLE

RATE: 23.00

DESIRABLE: Previous nursing home experience is desirable but not essential

About the role



We're looking for friendly, talented and passionate nurses to join our exceptional nursing home team. As one of our Nurses, you'll be responsible for looking after our residents' health and wellbeing, ensuring that they can live their lives to the fullest.

You'll get to utilise various different parts of your nursing skillset, attending to each of our residents' personalised care plans, administering medication, engaging in wound care or other aspects of hands-on health care, whilst maintaining high standards throughout. As well as this, you'll be responsible for keeping on top of inventory for medical supplies and making sure we're fully compliant with health regulations and quality assurance.

You'll also be a crucial link between our residents, their families and other healthcare professionals, updating them on any medical needs or health issues. The role also gives you the opportunity to build your leadership skills, as you'll be supervising and training other team members on all wellness services. You may not have worked in a care / nursing home before, and that's fine, we can support you and give you all the training and guidance to help you succeed. As well as this, we'll encourage you to develop and grow in other areas, giving you opportunities to take on further training and grow your skillset.

The ideal candidate



Extensive nursing experience, ideally in a nursing home (not essential). RGN / RMN / RN with a valid NMC pin Great organisational and time management skills Able to work flexible hours Capable of communicating with all sorts of people, in person and in writing Happy to supervise, develop, teach and mentor other staff Good assessment skills
