Highwood Care Home is a brand-new, purpose-built luxury care home in the historic port town of Bideford. We provide Residential, Dementia, Nursing, and Respite care for up to 67 residents in a welcoming, homely environment.


Due to our continued growth and the opening of our next floor, we are expanding our team and looking for compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurses. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a newly commissioned home and help shape its success from the ground up.

What We Offer

Your Role

As a Registered Nurse, you will lead with compassion and clinical expertise, ensuring residents receive the highest standard of care. You will guide and support your team, deliver hands-on care, personalise care plans, monitor health, administer medications, respond to emergencies, and create a warm, engaging environment for residents. You will play a key role in fostering independence, dignity, and wellbeing for all residents.

What We're Looking For

Registered General or Mental Health Nurse (RGN or RMN) with an active NMC PIN Passion for providing high-quality, person-centred care Strong communication and teamwork skills Confident, compassionate, and professional approach Experience in care homes is advantageous but not essential
