Opportunity for a Wound Care Nurse to join our ever-expanding team of clinicians!
Contract - Permanent
Hours - Part-time
Location - Fleetwood Health & Wellbeing Centre, Dock Street, Fleetwood, Lancashire, FY7 6HP
Salary - Depending on experience 23.61 - 27.01 per hour (Uplift pending October 2025)
Main duties of the role
The post holder will undertake wound assessments and treatment for patients with both simple and complex wounds. Patients who will be referred to this service will be the following types:
Post operative including suture and staple removal
Post trauma skin tears, self-harm
Cavity Wounds
Burns
Patient education including nutrition in relation to wound healing and scar management
There is an expectation to refer to the wider community team if required, support Senior clinicians and HCAs and attend meetings when required. The post holder will help promote the service and implement change as requested from the ICB.
