We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RGN) to join our dynamic night team at a well-established nursing home in Swindon. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Staff Nurse to provide high-quality, person-centred care to our elderly residents.

Key Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse (RGN), you will be responsible for:

Providing the highest standards of nursing care to our elderly residents, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being throughout the night.
Confidently leading and managing medication rounds in accordance with NMC guidelines and company policy.
Taking charge of the shift, providing clinical leadership and supervision to the care team in the absence of the Deputy Manager*.

Working autonomously and using your initiative to manage the clinical needs of residents without direct supervision.
Developing, implementing, and evaluating personalised care plans.
Collaborating effectively with the Deputy Manager*, multidisciplinary teams, and healthcare professionals.

Maintaining accurate and timely clinical records and documentation.
Upholding all CQC standards and contributing to the home's clinical governance.
Qualifications & Experience

The ideal Nursing Home Nurse will have:

A valid NMC Pin(RGN essential).
A minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience as a Registered Nurse*.

Substantial experience working in a UK nursing home or care homesetting.
Proven competence in medication administration and management.
The confidence and ability to work autonomously and lead a shift.
Excellent clinical skills with a strong understanding of elderly care*.

A compassionate, professional, and reliable nature.
Shift Pattern & Benefits

Hours:Full-Time, 36 hours per week.
Shift Pattern:Night shifts only (12-hour shifts).
Salary: A competitive hourly rate of 20.00 per hour*.
