Ensure Service Users are at the heart of the care delivery and their wishes and preferences enhance their wellbeing.
Undertake the Care Planning activities for Service Users to meet changing physical, psychological and social needs, taking into consideration privacy, dignity and personal choice.
Ensure care plans are developed in collaboration with Service Users, their families, friends and relevant professionals.
Undertake all aspects of medicine management in line with legal, professional and regulatory requirements.
Be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of these individuals they support.
To provide nursing care in accordance with current best practice, according to policies and procedures, agreed standards and legislative requirements.
Requirements of the Role
All candidates must be registered with the NMC and work within the Code of Conduct.
All candidates must comply with NMC requirements for re-validation every three years.
Good English - written and verbal is essential.
Previous experience of working in similar environments.
Experience of working with Service Users, in particular those that may have additional support needs.
Supervisory and effective communication skills to ensure shifts run smoothly, making sure all work is carried out in a organised and efficient manner.
