Responsibilities
Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patients for any adverse reactions.
Provide comprehensive patient care, including assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with healthcare regulations.
Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare staff to deliver coordinated care.
Educate patients and their families on health management, treatment plans, and medication usage.
Conduct routine checks on patients' vital signs and report any significant changes to the medical team.
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards within the clinical environment.
Requirements
Valid nursing registration with the appropriate regulatory body.
Proven experience in medication administration and patient care.
Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Empathy and a genuine desire to help others in their time of need.
Flexibility to work various shifts as required by the healthcare facility.
