Job Description

We are looking for a caring registered nurse to join our established and friendly staff team. Ashgrove House Nursing Home is situated in a lovely Village location, established in 1984 and is one of the leading homes in the area, and rated as outstanding by CQC. We have excellent staffing ratios to provide person centered care to all of our residents and an award-winning activities team. All rooms are en-suite and have some of the most up to date equipment available at your fingertips.

Due to our semi-rural position, you will need your own transport - public transport in the local area is not suitable in supporting our shift times.

We do not offer sponsorship to overseas nurses.

As one of our Nurses you will be responsible for:

*Assessing, Planning, implementing and evaluating care plans as a named nurse

*Maintaining accurate and appropriate documentation.

*Promoting the well-being of residents (physical, emotional and social needs)

*Leadership qualities required to encompass delegation and supervision of duties to care staff

*Storage and administration of medications, including controlled drugs

*Communication with outside agencies and medical practitioners

*Routine observations and record keeping

*Ensuring the safe, smooth and efficient running of the home in accordance with policies

As a Nurse you must have:

*A valid UK NMC Pin Number and the right to work in the U.K
