Job Description

he Division of Surgery, Anaesthetics & Critical Care is an integral part of Sherwood Forest Hospitals. We comprise specialist wards across a range of surgical disciplines, including colorectal, general surgery, trauma and elective orthopaedics, day case, adult critical care, and theatres. We are a friendly and collaborative team, committed to offering excellent training and educational opportunities.



We are currently seeking Registered Nurses who are passionate about delivering outstanding care. In this role, you will be a vital member of our multidisciplinary team, ensuring patients receive the highest standard of care. Your responsibilities will include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals. You will also administer medications, monitor patient progress, and provide education and support to patients and their families.



You will work closely with healthcare support workers and therapy services to deliver direct patient care and support relatives during their stay at Sherwood Forest Hospitals. Additionally, you will contribute to quality improvement initiatives and help foster a positive and safe working environment.
