We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care, administer medications, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This role is essential in promoting health, preventing illness, and providing care for patients in various settings.
Duties
Ensure the highest standards of care, assessing residents' needs and wishes, and developing the services to enhance the residents quality of life
Encourage appropriate independence and personal choice; developing, reviewing and updating care plans to meet our residents physical and social needs on our digital care plan system.
Oversee medication management on your shift - ensuring medicines are received, stored and administered appropriately using e-MAR system.
Ensure all elements of resident experience are positive, from admission to discharge.
Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory and best practice guidelines - identify, investigate and resolve risks proactively
Ensure you follow a rigorous monitoring and recording practice; documenting efficiently, and thoroughly all matters relating to residents and employees
Requirements
Valid registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) or have passed the CBT/OSCE tests of competance.
Good Nursing Experience
Able to write care plans on our digital care plan system
Able to show empathy and compassion to residents and visitors
Able to carry out general nursing tasks such as Peg feeding, wound care, etc
To be an effective team leader and role model to the staff team.
To have the knowledge to make research based decisions regarding nursing care needs
To be flexiable and adaptable.
