About the Role:

As a Paediatric Nurse in our team, you'll act as the crucial link between our field-based carers and our office-based leadership. Your job is to be present where you're needed most--offering expert clinical guidance, ensuring best practices are followed, and helping to deliver life-changing care to children with complex needs.


This is a zero-hour, field-based role offering flexibility, autonomy, and variety.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide on-the-spot clinical support and oversight to care staff in the field. Deliver care in line with personalised care plans and regulatory standards. Lead and mentor healthcare support workers to ensure safe, high-quality care. Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate clinical interventions. Resolve issues in real-time while upholding a calm, solutions-focused approach. Work with electronic care record systems to maintain accurate documentation. Offer debriefing support, conduct competency reviews, and promote best practice. Champion a culture of dignity, respect, and person-centred care. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the wider care team.

What We're Looking For:

Valid NMC registration as a Registered Paediatric Nurse (RCN) or RGN. Minimum 12 months post-qualification experience. Previous experience in community or complex care (preferred, not essential). Up-to-date training or willingness to complete our bespoke training package. Strong clinical judgment and confident decision-making skills. Ability to adapt quickly and work independently in the field. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
