Halian Vets in St Albans, Hertfordshire is looking for a full-time UK registered veterinary nurse to join our team as maternity cover from December 2025, with potential for a longer term position.

We are an independent small animal practice with the usual equipment, and pride ourselves on providing an excellent level of pet and client care.

We are looking for someone to complement our existing team, who has some experience and can turn their hand to everything from reception, nurse rotas, and running clinics through to anaesthesia and inpatient care. You'll be working alongside two vets, another full time RVN and a part-time RVN - all of who would be happy to chat with you about what its like to work here.

We offer an average of 38 hours a week, working a 3-4 day week with no OOH - days are usually 8.30-4.30 or 10.30 to 7.30 with approx 1 Saturday morning in , along with regular 3 day weekends off to allow for those all important weekend getaways.
