Job opportunity Registered Veterinary Nurse 6-month maternity cover.

Salary: to 28000 DOE (pro rata)

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team. You will need to provide highest quality of care for our patients and supporting our veterinary surgeons with medical treatments and surgical procedures, consultations and inpatient care.

The Vale Veterinary Group is a well-established, independent veterinary practice dedicated to providing exceptional veterinary care. We are a close-knit team that values work-life balance, excellence in clinical care, and compassion for both our patients and their owners. Our practice is equipped with in-house lab machine, ultrasound, digital radiography including dental radiography, anaesthetic monitoring equipment including two portable SunTech BP machine.

The Vale is proud to offer its own out-of-hours service as we feel it offers the best care and continuity to our clients and their pets; this is run on a 1:16 (or better). We have adapted our rota to a 4-day working week.

As a group we pride ourselves on the elevated level of care that is afforded our clients.

The Vale was established in 1918 and enjoys an excellent reputation. We also like to enjoy ourselves; and our team enjoy various trips including to see rugby in Exeter

Requirements:

Registered Veterinary Nurse, eligible to practice in the UK.

Excellent clinical skills and a passion for veterinary nursing.

Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide empathetic support and advice to pet owners.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
