Hours:

Part-time hours, 30.4 hours per week (based on annualised hours and overnight shifts). Full-time hours are 40 hours per week.

Up to 37,000 per annum (full-time equivalent, based on a 40-hour week), dependent on experience and pro-rata for hours worked.

What we're looking for



Registered Veterinary Nurse with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Minimum of two years of post-qualification experience in small animal practice Experience or a strong interest in emergency and critical care and in-patient care Confidence working overnight independently within a supportive team Strong communication and organisational skills.

The team



Village Vet Hampstead is a 24-hour hospital accredited by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, supporting the wider North London area. Our hospital operates as an emergency and critical care hub with a varied caseload that includes gastric dilatation-volvulus, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, intensive post-operative monitoring, and medical in-patient care. The pace is dynamic but supported, with excellent communication between day and night teams through structured handovers. You'll be part of a close-knit overnight team with a veterinary surgeon and patient care assistant, while also benefiting from a broader clinical community of experienced registered veterinary nurses, patient care assistants, and certificate-holding veterinary surgeons.
