REGISTERED VETERINARY NURSE (RVN)

Full-time or Part-time

Folkestone, Kent

30,000 - 34,000 FTE (DOE)

We are an independent, family owned small animal first opinion practice based on Folkestone's high street, just a minute from the sea, so ideal to get out of the practice some for fresh-air lunch breaks. We are looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse who wants to be valued for their skills and supported in their development.

This role would suit either a newly qualified RVN keen to build confidence and broaden their skills, or a more experienced nurse looking for a genuinely supportive, well-run practice.

The role

This is a hands-on, varied first opinion RVN position where you'll take part in all nursing duties

Nurse consultations (vaccinations, weight clinics, long-term injections, etc.) Assisting in theatre and monitoring general anaesthetics In-patient care and clinical monitoring Running in-house bloods and lab work Dispensing and repeat medication Supporting reception when needed All expected RVN duties in a busy, well-equipped first-opinion practice

Salary & benefits

30,000 - 34,000 FTE (DOE) 36 days paid holiday (pro-rata), increasing with length of service BUPA private healthcare RCVS fees paid Regular social events, fully funded by the practice

CPD & development

We believe motivated nurses deliver better care, and so we invest accordingly.

1,000 annual CPD allowance as standard No ceiling on CPD funding if you'd like to pursue certificates etc. Encouragement and support to develop in areas that genuinely interest you
