Who we are:

We are Vetrica - a well established, independently owned practice based in Rosyth. We have recently expanded to create additional consultation rooms and theatres. We are proud to provide gold standard patient care and an exceptional client experience.

What are we looking for:

We require a full-time Registered Veterinary Nurse or a newly qualified SVN who has focus, passion and dedication to provide the very best care for our patients and clients.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, with the ability to work within a team, whilst being autonomous at the right times. Sound knowledge and clinical reasoning skills will be required to meet the challenge of an interesting and wide-ranging caseload. Ideally we are looking for a vet nurse who has an interest in developing their own nursing clinics.

The full time role is based on a 40 hour week, Monday to Friday and, in addition, 1:3 Saturdays 8am-12pm. No OOH or on call!

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality patient care by monitoring animal health and administering medications as prescribed Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures, ensuring a sterile environment Maintain accurate medical records and communicate effectively with pet owners regarding treatment plans Educate clients on pet care and preventive health measures, fostering strong relationships through excellent communication skills
