Salary: 33,000 - 40,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: Full-time, 1 in 4 Saturdays, No Out-of-Hours (OOH)

About the Role

As a Senior Veterinary Nurse, you will play a key role within our hospital team, working closely with the Hospital Manager and Vets to ensure outstanding patient care and operational excellence.

Your responsibilities will include:

Clinical Excellence - Rotate between surgery, consultations, and inpatient care, ensuring a high standard of treatment and patient welfare. Leadership and Mentoring - Support, guide, and inspire a team of RVNs, Student Nurses, and Veterinary Care Assistants. Training and Development - Run and enhance nursing clinics, assist with in-house CPD sessions, and mentor student nurses. Operational Support - Assist in maintaining clinical standards, optimising workflows, and helping to manage the nursing rota. Collaboration - Work alongside the leadership team to develop a smooth and efficient patient journey from reception to discharge.
This role is ideal for an RVN with experience in a busy hospital or referral setting, ready to take on management responsibilities in line with the clinic's growth while still enjoying valuable time with patients.
