Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the friendly and supportive team at MBM Vets on a 12 month fixed term contract.

This is a multi-site role, working across our three Small Animal practices located in Kilmarnock, Beith, and Mauchline.

Our Team & Culture

You will be joining a dedicated and experienced Small Animal team, currently comprising:20 Veterinary Surgeons, including certificate holders in Cardiology and Surgery, and others pursuing further qualifications in Surgery and Internal Medicine. 16 Registered Veterinary Nurses, supported by 4 Animal Nursing Assistants and 14 Reception staff.

We are committed to delivering high standards of patient care and clinical excellence, offering a wide range of medical and surgical services in-house, with strong links to referral centres for complex cases.

We are pleased to offer a flexible approach to working hours to support a healthy work-life balance. This role offers up to 40 hours per week, which can be structured over four or five days, depending on your preference. The position also includes participation in a 1 in 4 Saturday morning rota (8:30am to 1:00pm), with no out-of-hours or on-call duties. We are happy to consider applications from candidates seeking part-time hours or alternative working patterns to accommodate individual needs and commitments.
