Our practice is well equipped with digital x-rays, dental x-rays and ultrasound. We offer laparoscopic spays and orthopaedic surgeries at our main surgery in Musselburgh. Client and patient care are our main focus and we do that by offering a friendly and supportive environment to work in. We are a nurse training practice and have the tools in place to develop our nursing team.
About the role
Your role will involve:Patient care post op and day hospitalisation
General anaesthetic and sedation preparation and monitoring
Surgical prep of operation rooms and patients
Laboratory duties
Infection control
Care and maintenance of equipment
Nurse consultations
About You
We're looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse who values teamwork and is committed to delivering excellent patient care. Due to this being a sole nurse role we are looking ideally looking for you to be a minimum of 2 years qualified.
Working Hours
This is a part-time permanent role working 27.5 hours per week. The shifts will be on a Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday between 8:30am-7:00pm in line with our work life balance ethos. You will also participate in the weekend rota (1:5 weekends, which will be based at Musselburgh).
