Guildhouse School, located in the heart of Bloomsbury in central London, is a boarding school for ages 15+ that provides an immersive international environment for ideas and creativity, where students are empowered to make a positive impact on our world.

Position Overview: The Registrar at Guildhouse School London is a key middle leadership role, supporting the student lifecycle from initial enquiry to successful completion of studies. The Registrar ensures a smooth and positive experience for all international students.

Main Responsibilities:



Admissions & Student Support:

Conduct student interviews and site tours.

Act as the primary contact for pre-arranged and walk-in visits from agents, students, and parents.

Support the development of an alumni network.

Oversee key student events, including induction weeks and registration events.

Coordinate student induction and registration, ensuring a smooth start for new students.

Assist students with settling into the UK, including guidance on opening bank accounts.

Ensure all students are set up on the school's MIS and other relevant platforms.

Manage post-arrival service issues and student retention.

Deliver exceptional service to all prospective clients and visitors.

Coordinate school open days and events with the Senior Deputy Head.



Student Communications Team Management:

Lead and manage the Student Communications Team, ensuring high standards of customer service.

Enhance communication channels for students, parents, and agents.

Serve as the central point of contact for students, parents, agents, and internal stakeholders.

Ensure compliance with UKVI and ISI regulations for international students.

Respond to all issues within 24 hours, prioritizing urgent matters.

Build strong relationships with students and agents.



UKVI & ISI Compliance and Reporting:

Work closely with the Immigration Compliance Officer to ensure compliance with UKBA rules and regulations.

Support students with travel visas and parental permissions for academics, activities, welfare, and accommodation.



Data Management:

Maintain accurate student information on the school's MIS.

Verify contact information and maintain accurate records relating to the admissions process.



Administration:

Ensure timely correspondence, including letters, reports, certificates, and other official documents.

Maintain appropriate filing systems for all admissions.

Ensure timely and accurate reporting documentation.

Person Specification:



Essential Knowledge & Experience:

Understanding of admissions, student support, and UKVI/ISI compliance.

Familiarity with student management systems and data protection regulations.

Awareness of international student needs and customer service principles.

Experience managing student services and working with international students.

Event planning and compliance knowledge in an educational setting.

Essential Skills & Attributes:

Strong communication, leadership, and multitasking abilities.

Problem-solving, attention to detail, and event coordination skills.

IT proficiency, including student databases and Microsoft Office.

Proficiency in multiple languages for international student support.
