This is an exciting and unique opportunity to work in a combined role within the Registration Service. We are looking for an experienced administrator to join our small, busy team and help people at some of the most important times of their lives.
The combined role covers 2 posts, with a minimum of 37 hours in the core role of Registration Administrator at Grade 4 (25,185 to 25,989). Once in post you will receive training in your first year to register marriages at locations across the County and assist at other celebratory events throughout Pembrokeshire, with these duties being paid on Grade 5 (26,403 to 27,694 pro rata).
The service operates seven days a week with the main core hours for this position Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm or Tuesday - Saturday 9.00am - 5.00pm. Due to the nature of the service seasonal fluctuations Saturday working is required at peak times of demand (primarily but not exclusively during the summer period).
You will need to have a high degree of self-motivation and commitment, have good organisational skills, exceptional attention to detail and an empathetic but professional personality. You will provide a first-class front-line service point to all our internal and external customers and so will need to demonstrate excellent inter-personal and communication skills. In addition to using the Microsoft Office suite of applications, you will receive training to use registration specific online systems.
Legible handwriting is essential for this post as well as a full clean driving licence with access to a vehicle.
Candidates must possess essential Welsh language skills or commit to learning them to the required standard post-appointment.
