Job title: Regulatory Reporting Business Analyst

Project Team

The Regulatory Reporting project seeks to provide a more robust replacement to the firm\xe2\x80\x99s regulatory reporting solution to ensure it meets the requirement for accurate and timely reporting by using a new third-party vendor with strategic internal processes and architectural changes. The project is in-house build with integration with vendor solutions.

Position purpose

One of the key challenges of the of the project is data analysis and mapping, that is the ability to source the data required by the regulator in the EDFT trading systems/sources. The incumbent will be required to carry out detailed data analysis of EDFT trade data and assess data source solution for the mapping.

All about you

Good understanding of the ETRM/CTRM systems and trading data

Experience in data analysis and mapping

Excellent team player

Self-starter, someone with ability to meet strategic objectives but equally has the ability to dive into the detail when required

Ability to acquire new knowledge quickly

Aptitude for working in a fast and rapidly changing environment.

Participate in SCRUM methodologies where appropriate

Participate in the analysis and design phases as required

Collaborate with all project stakeholders including product owners, analysts and quality assurance to deliver technical solutions

Ability to communicate and engage effectively with the senior business and manage expectations

Highly motivated to complete projects and \xe2\x80\x98go the extra mile\xe2\x80\x99 to achieve positive outcomes

A very proactive individual able to handle multiple projects/work packages simultaneously

Ability to understand and appreciate system architecture.

Manage the delivery of IT solutions

Great if you also:

Have worked previously in implementing regulatory reporting projects, ideally EMIR, REFIT, REMIT

Understanding of the EU/UK energy sector regulations

Technical requirements

Strong data analysis skills

Strong SQL skills for querying the ETRM database and other data repositories

Able to use Trading knowledge to interpret the data model to create queries

Must be comfortable putting together joins across several tables

Experience of the development life cycle
