Post No. SSAC0234 - Rehabilitation Officer for Visual Impairment



The First Contact Adults Team is an integrated team who provide information, advice and assistance to promote independence and wellbeing to the residents of Newport.



We are looking to recruit an experienced, autonomous and motivated Vision Rehabilitation Specialist who is passionate about empowering individuals and to keen make a real difference to the lives of individuals living with a visual impairment. Having strong communication and organisational skills, with proven ability to work with a diverse range of individuals and organisations is key to this role.



You will be responsible got managing a case load, utilising multi agency working to ensure the best outcomes for individuals and keeping up to date with new developments and technologies.
