We are looking to recruit

support workers to join Team Steps and become part of what we believe to be, something incredibly

This role is based in West Clandonand surrounding areas and a we have

fixed

hours available on a permanent basis.

We have a client in the West Clandon area of Surrey - the lady is moving to the area after spending years living in South Devon, she requires

rehab

based support following neurosurgery a couple of years ago, and needs support with physio and her balance, as well as her speech and word finding.

Our client is very outdoorsy and has always loved gardening and tending to her garden, so someone with an interest or background in gardening would be advantageous, as well as going out on her boat. She is also an avid rugby fan. She has ongoing rehab as part of her therapy, and will require support with physiotherapy sessions and speech and language therapy.

15-19 per hour, plus extra for Bank Holidays

Hours Available:

We have 15 hours a week available, made up of 8am-1pm shifts 3 x per week on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays.

There is also an option to pick up the additional domiciliary care hours on this package, which are 8-9am on Wednesdays and Fridays. Please enquire for more information.

Responsibilities will include:

Completing a comprehensive rehabilitation programme

Supporting with personal care and preparing and giving meals

Household tasks

Engaging the client in meaningful, fulfilling activities

Requirements for the position:

The chosen individuals will be enthusiastic, reliable and self - motivated. Six months health and social care experience is preferable, however, transferrable skills and personal experience will be considered.
