Job Description
Steel Reinforcement Processor
Cutting and bending reinforcement steel to a schedule using a variety of machines including a cropper, manual benders, radius benders and automated cnc bending machines.
The operator would set the machine and carry out a trial sample, checking dimensions and angles before running the consignment.
The operator will stack and bundle tie the product before using the oerhead crane to move it to the loading area.
Training will be provided along with a period working alongside other experienced operators.
There are also associated skilled labour jobs associated with this work which may not require processing machine operation but would require the use of an overhead crane.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 12.50-13.00 per hour
Experience:
Manual handling: 1 year (preferred)
Construction: 1 year (preferred)
Manufacturing: 1 year (preferred)
Work Location: In person
