You will focus on supporting the operational execution of inwards reinsurance for the Group's Internal Reinsurance Vehicle, including proportional reinsurance treaties, ensuring accurate processing, reconciliation, and reporting of ceded premiums, commissions, and claims. This role is critical in maintaining data integrity, supporting internal and external audits, and enabling effective risk transfer and capital optimization.
Key Responsibilities:Process and maintain proportional treaty data including quota share and surplus lines.
Track and reconcile ceding premiums, commissions (ceding, profit), and claims recoveries.
Monitor treaty terms and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
Prepare monthly and quarterly aged debt reports
Maintain accurate records in reinsurance systems and ensure alignment with general ledger.
Support internal controls and documentation for audit compliance.
Liaise with underwriting, claims, actuarial, and finance teams to ensure smooth treaty execution.
Liaise with the Group Outwards Reinsurance Operations team.
Coordinate with brokers and reinsurers on data submissions and queries.
Identify process inefficiencies and contribute to automation and system enhancement initiatives.
Support the implementation of new treaties and onboarding of new programs
Skills/ Qualifications/ Experience require:2-4 years of experience in reinsurance operations, preferably with exposure to proportional treaties.
Strong understanding of reinsurance concepts: quota share, ceding commission, profit commission, earned vs. written premium.
Proficiency in Excel and experience with reinsurance systems (e.g., SAP, SICS, or equivalent).
Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to constructively challenge and analyse results

Enthusiastic, curious with a 'can-do' attitude
Reporting Relationships/ Interactions:Reports to the Senior Reinsurance Financial Reporting and Controls Manager
Maintain constructive and supportive professional relationships with both internal and external stakeholders including the Re & ILS BU operations team, external auditors, Reinsurance Purchase Team, Re & ILS and Group Finance teams, and Reserving.
