Reinsurance Technician {Outwards}

In this role, the successful Reinsurance Technician role will involve assisting with all functions associated with pre and post placement of outwards reinsurance contracts, checking of RI slips and Evidence of Covers, Calculation of Premiums and recoveries for Excess of Loss, Proportional and Facultative Reinsurances.

This role would suit an Outwards Reinsurance Technician who has confidence in dealing with all aspects of reinsurance operational and accounting processes, as well as experience in processing LORS transactions.

The Role:

• To assist with the monthly, quarterly and yearly Net Close, having calculated all Reinsurance Recoveries and Premiums due
• Review/authorise daily LORS messages, cross referencing to the Syndicate Collection Tracker/EOC\xe2\x80\x99s
• To assist/prepare Reinsurance Programme Summaries and Schematics of Reinsurances purchased

The Person

• Relevant Industry experience
• Confidence in dealing with all aspects of reinsurance operational and accounting processes
• Experience in processing LORS transactions
