ReWellness Counselling
is passionate about providing opportunities for growth and change. We offer a bespoke counselling service looking holistically at every client and their personal life journey. Our private referrals include relationship, parent and family work, alongside our work with children and young people.

A recognised relationship qualification and prior experience working with couples is a must for this role, along with the ability to engage people effectively and create a safe space for them to express themselves.

Responsibilities:

To conduct thorough assessments of clients' relationship issues, including communication breakdowns, conflicts, and emotional concerns.
Develop tailored counselling plans that address specific needs and goals of couples or individuals.
Facilitate one-on-one or couple counselling sessions to help clients explore their relationship dynamics, identify issues, and work towards resolution.
Utilise evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), or Systemic Therapy, with a Person Centred Approach at the core of all work undertaken.
Provide immediate support and intervention for clients experiencing acute relationship crises, such as infidelity, separation, or divorce.
Teach and model effective communication skills to help clients improve their interactions and resolve conflicts in a healthy manner.
Maintain accurate and confidential client records
Flexibility to work with adult clients when needed.
Requirements:
Specialised Training and qualifications in Relationship Counselling
Registered with a professional body such as BACP
DBS
Excellent communication and active listening skills
Ability to build rapport with clients and establish a trusting therapeutic relationship
Empathy and compassion for individuals facing emotional challenges
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
