The Role
As a
Senior Trainer
, you'll play a key role in:
Delivering modular counselling training packages and validated qualifications
Leading course planning, assessment, and quality assurance in line with SQA/BACP/COSCA standards
Mentoring students and contributing to their academic and personal development
Supporting training staff and collaborating with internal teams to ensure programme excellence
Evening and weekend availability is required to meet learner and organisational needs.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
Postgraduate qualification in Counselling/Psychotherapy
Demonstrated training experience with counselling students
Strong grasp of counselling ethics and integrative practice
Effective team coordination and assessment skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
COSCA/BACP Accredited Trainer (Diploma level)
Desirable:
Qualified and practicing relationship/couple's counsellor
Experience with SCQF Level 11 qualifications
SQA Qualification Verification experience
SMHFA Trainer qualification or supervision certificate
