Role: Relationship Manager Asset Finance

  • We are seeking a highly motivated individual, with Asset Finance experience to manage a portfolio of existing customers and originate new business.
  • Target market is purely non regulated business lending to customers ranging from sole traders up to large Corporates.
About the Role:

You will be part of the AIB UK Asset Based Lending Team providing Asset Finance solutions across the UK.

The role of Relationship Manager Asset Finance supports the Bank\'s strategic direction through the development of new business income streams by deploying Asset Finance and ABL products across the banks chosen sectors.

The role holder will create and maintain strong customer relationships as well as working with key internal stakeholders to deliver solutions that work for all parties.

The successful applicant will need to have strong credit skills with the ability to interpret and understand key financial indicators.

Strategic sales planning and a deep understanding of the industry and the competitor landscape are essential to being successful in this role.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Provide Asset Finance products and solutions to businesses and be able to structure deals to meet customer requirements whilst managing the credit risk to the Bank.
  • Have credit experience to be able to analyse financial information to support new business credit applications.
  • Support our bank sector teams in new business origination.
  • Proactively identify potential customers and build a healthy pipeline of new business opportunities.
What you will bring:
  • Minimum 5 years\' experience in the Asset Finance market including a well-developed knowledge of all financial, regulatory and technical aspects.
  • Proven new business origination capability either individually or as part of a winning team.
  • The ability to build and maintain relationships within a complex framework of stakeholders
  • Banking or Asset Finance Qualifications are desirable but not essential.
