14.18 per hour

The Role


A fantastic opportunity has arisen within our team for a technical skilled, highly effective problem solver to join a well-established team.

As a Control Room Operative, you will ensure the safety of premises and staff (throughout the UK remotely), liaising with emergency services, public services and on call staff

Responsibilities:



Confident on the telephone, able to relay critical information in real time to emergency services and senior management. You will also be able to note accurately any telephone reports/updates that are received, dealing with them in a timely, polite and efficient manner. Be flexible and able to work on a shift pattern to ensure 24/7 365 days per year shift patterns are Days, Nights and weekend cover. The shift patterns may change with the operational needs of the business; however, the minimum weekly hours are 42 hours per week. To have an in-depth knowledge of Security Systems including perimeter detection, PSIM software and CCTV operation. Experienced in the operations of and Alarm Receiving Centre or CCTV control Centre. Interrogation of systems and analysis of information.

Requirements



Experience of working in a Control Room or Alarm Receiving Centre Experience of monitoring Multi sites for access control, CCTV and Fire Systems Excellent communication & administration skills High standards are expected for this role. Problem solving with the ability to priorities problems. Reliable with excellent time-management skills. Smart, well-groomed, and confident. A commitment to providing first class customer service is essential. Good report writing skills. Strong security background Security systems knowledge Telephone/switchboard skills Proficient IT literacy would be a requirement i.e., PC/Internet Excel, Word Ability to work well under pressure. CCTV Licence

Licence Requirements:



CCTV licence is required

Job Requirements:



You must be able to provide a check-able 5-year employment history for vetting purposes (this can include full-time education or periods in receipt of benefits). Possession of a First Aid at Work Certificate is desirable.

Interview Requirements:



Eligibility documents needed at interview: Passport or Full Birth Certificate; Utility Bill showing current address and dated within 3 months; Proof of National Insurance (Payslips cannot be used) such as NI card, P45, P60, benefits or HMRC letter.
