Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable, self-motivated and enthusiastic cleaner to provide excellent cleaning services in the Grimsby, Immingham and Louth area in offices and medical practices, on a relief basis to cover for holiday and sickness absence, sometimes at short notice.

Experience is preferred must have own transport and car mileage allowance will be paid. Occasionally there may be relief cover to do in the Manby, North Somercotes and Alford areas.

Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to ensure high standards of hygiene. Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately. Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and report any shortages or needs for replenishment. Follow established cleaning protocols and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment. Assist with special cleaning projects as required, such as deep cleans or post-event clean-ups. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.

Qualifications

Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to cleaning techniques and equipment.
