Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team at McElmeel Mobility Services. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering wheelchair accessible vehicles to our customers while ensuring the highest standards of service. This position is a relief role and therefore there are no confirmed hours of work.

You should be located in closes proximity to our head office to allow for ease of collection and return of vehicles.

The position will require you to travel via boat to UK and deliver vehicles direct to the customers own home address.

Responsibilities

Safely deliver wheelchair accessible vehicles to customers across the UK. Ensure timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic regulations and safety protocols. Communicate effectively with customers, demonstrating how to use vehicle adaptations and features. Perform pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle readiness. Maintain accurate delivery documentation & liaise with office admin as required.

Requirements

Valid driving license. Previous demonstrable driving experience, or vehicle delivery experience. Strong communication skills for effective customer interaction. Reliable, punctual with flexibility to be available short notice. Familiarity with vehicle adaptations is a plus but not required. Excellent time management skills.
