Job Description

As a Relief Housekeeping Assistant with CrossReach, you'll help keep our home clean, safe and welcoming for older people. You'll step in when needed to maintain high standards of hygiene and comfort, making sure every space reflects the respect and dignity we offer to those in our care.

What Your Day Could Involve



Cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms and shared areas to a high standard Supporting residents to keep their personal spaces tidy and comfortable Working as part of a friendly, supportive team Helping new colleagues learn housekeeping routines Following Health & Safety and COSHH procedures Taking part in training and team meetings when required

About You



You take pride in your work and care about creating a welcoming environment. You're reliable, thoughtful and happy to lend a hand wherever needed. No formal experience is required just a willingness to learn and a caring attitude. Experience in a care setting is an advantage. You have basic computer skills, You're a member of the PVG Scheme, or willing to join with our support.

You will also need to become amember of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks.You will also be required to adhere to the SSSC Code of practice.
