Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Milker to join our team on the farm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the milking of dairy animals, ensuring their health and well-being while maintaining high standards of hygiene and productivity. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to operate various tools and equipment safely.

Duties

Perform milking duties for dairy animals, ensuring proper techniques are used for animal comfort and milk quality. Maintain cleanliness of milking equipment and facilities, adhering to hygiene standards. Monitor the health of animals during milking, reporting any concerns to management. Use hand tools and power tools for equipment maintenance and repair as needed. Engage in basic maths for measuring feed Participate in heavy lifting tasks associated with feed and equipment handling. Provide general animal care, including feeding and health checks. Maintain a safe working environment by following all safety protocols.

Requirements

Previous experience in animal care or farming is preferred but not essential. Strong mechanical knowledge to assist with equipment repair and maintenance. Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks regularly throughout the shift. A genuine interest in agriculture and animal husbandry is highly desirable. Willingness to work flexible hours as required by farm operations. Driving licence
