We're looking for a Relief Security Officer to join our professional team and play a key role in safeguarding our operations at sites across Leicester and Derby. ?

• Hours: 36 hours a week TBC?
• Salary: 12.21 to 19 per hour based on the site being covered?
• Shift Pattern: Days, nights and weekends based on what is required
• Site Location: This position will be providing relief across multiple sites between Leicester and Derby. Ideal candidates are to be based between the two areas. There is a fuel allowance if conditions apply.

?What you'll do:

• Safeguard our client's site, ensuring the safety of employees, visitors, and contractors
• Conduct internal and external foot patrols, oversee access control, and keep a watchful eye for anything suspicious
• Liaise with emergency services if required
• Provide excellent customer service, guidance, and support while maintaining top-notch security
• Take charge in any challenging situations until external support arrives
• Ensure health and safety standards are upheld, record and report hazards promptly

Qualifications
?What we need from you:

• A valid SIA Licence - we offer full training to help you achieve the required certification
• Computer literate - able to use basic IT systems is essential
• Minimum 2-3 years experience within a security role
• Able to pass additional vetting for some sites
• Knowledge of access control systems
• Ability to travel to site within 45 minutes
• Right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable history (enhanced screening required)
• Strong communication skills, a customer-first attitude, and a keen eye for detail
