Job Summary


The Relief Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our establishments during shifts when the primary manager is unavailable, or in this case, when we're looking to expand. This position requires a dynamic individual with a strong background in the restaurant and hospitality industry, capable of leading teams and maintaining high standards of service. The Relief Manager will oversee daily operations, supervise staff, and ensure that all food preparation and production processes adhere to our quality and safety guidelines.

Duties



Supervise and support team members in their daily tasks, fostering a collaborative work environment. Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly. Assist in food preparation and production, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas, upholding health and safety regulations. Conduct staff training sessions to enhance team performance and service delivery. Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies as necessary to maintain efficient operations. Collaborate with other managers to implement operational strategies that improve efficiency and profitability.

Experience



Proven experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is essential, with a strong understanding of culinary practices. Previous leadership or supervisory experience is highly desirable, demonstrating the ability to manage a team effectively. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food production processes is advantageous. Experience in bartending is beneficial but not mandatory. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required for effective team management and guest interaction.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temp to perm, Freelance
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: Up to 45,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 48 per week
