As a Relief Support Worker with CrossReach, you will help create a supportive environment where dignity, choice and compassion are central to everyday life. You will work flexibly across residential and day care settings, providing personalised care that encourages independence and meaningful engagement.

What your day could look like:

Delivering day-to-day care and support for residents and clients Contributing to care plans and acting as a key worker under senior staff guidance Administering medication under supervision Encouraging personal hygiene, independence and participation in community life Supporting activities, hobbies and local outings Maintaining accurate records and taking part in meetings and reviews Welcoming families and visitors and building positive relationships Assisting with clothing care and personal belongings

What you'll bring:

Basic computer literacy, respect for our Christian ethos and the ability to work within it, PVG Scheme membership and SSSC registration.

Desirable:

A recognised Social Work or Nursing qualification, and previous experience in social care.

This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
